Kindred Spirits was born from the title of Kindred by Octavia Butler, one of the foremost POC authors today. We’re looking for more writers and artists like her—unabashedly themselves.
That’s why we want you for our first edition,

Give us a taste of home—send in your best-kept, decades perfected, family (or friendly) recipes.
Whether you call for a spoonful of sugar or an aftertaste of regret, make it niche, make it accessible. Make it yours.
